MEMBERSHIP
We are a voluntary support organisation supported
by grants for our support groups from SW Essex Primary Care Trust and
Broadland District Council.
We are comprised of fellow sufferers of Sarcoidosis
and as such cannot give medical advice. Any help we provide you with is
based on our collective knowledge as an organisation. We will assist
you as best we can within this limitation, including signposting for
medical expertise, and upon joining you are deemed to acknowledge and
accept this limitation of our services to you.

There are three types of membership:
(a) Full membership with voting rights is open to individuals
over eighteen or organisations who are approved by the Trustees.
(b) Online membership with voting rights is open to individuals
over eighteen or organisations who are approved by the Trustees.
(c) By Forum without voting rights is available to all
SILA Forum members.

Printed copy of our Annual Report prior to our A.G.M.

A valid postal address must be maintained with S.A.S. throughout your
membership. Any address changes should be notified to your support area
as soon as possible to avoid lapse.

Volunteering
Have you thought about joining our group of volunteers? Only experience
is necessary is a working knowledge of "office" software and access to
the internet. The only cost to you is time and some expenses incurred
can be reimbursed.
In addition to a standard membership you will also have:
Access to document database
Recognition of volunteer experience
Future employment or character references if required
